After years of dominance under Tom Osborne, Nebraska has been looking for a consistent leader of their team. Frank Solich had his wins, but parted ways after a mediocre 2002 year, and key loses towards the end of 2003. Bill Callahan led mediocre teams that Cornhusker faithful would like to forget.
