Nebraska Athletic Director Steve Pederson was fired this afternoon by University of Nebraska Chancellor Harvey Perlman, or at least it was announced Monday October 15, 2007. According to Perlman, the decision to fire Pederson was actually made last week, but that he held off on the announcement so not to distract the Nebraska football program in the last hours before its game Saturday against Oklahoma State.
Yea that appears to have worked!!
