Two commitments in one week?! That sounds an awful lot like the Nittany Lions are putting together a living, breathing recruiting class for 2011. Well, it should sound like it, because that's exactly what is happening. After speculated for a few days now, PA DE Jordan Kerner called the coaches today, verbally committing to Penn State's class of 2011. He is the third member of the class so far, joining Kyle Carter and Shawn Oakman. Kerner told ($) BWI's Sean Fitz that it was location which sold him on the Nittany Lions, pointing to a conversation on Facebook with Drew Astorino, in which the current Nittany Lion safety told Kerner that being close to family and friends was a big part of his own decision to play for Penn State.
