We are almost ready to move out of speculation mode and into some real signings, but here is another rumor courtesy of Derrick Gunn of Comcast Sportsnet. The Broncos are likely to release oft-injured Javon Walker, and the Eagles are looking into signing the veteran wide receiver. Other teams who might be interested in Walker are two division rivals, the Cowboys and Redskins.

Cross another receiver off the Eagles list, not that they were interested anyway. Javon Walker signed with the Oakland Raiders for 6 years, 55 million. That's a ton of money for a guy who is always injured. I'm glad the Eagles didn't pay that much for a mediocre receiver.

As the Javon Walker story unfolds, more twists and turns seem to continue to turn up. A once thought possible career threatening injury is said to be a non-issue for Walker's return to the Raiders. Walker is planning on being on a plane to Oakland this evening where the Oakland Raiders team doctors are expected to give him a significant checkup.

That's the link to the news. Apparently he was robbed and seen Saturday at a night club spraying the crowd with the 15 bottles of champagne he ordered. They say he was out until 6:30 in the morning also and the first round of champagne cost him over $15,000.
