There are varying opinions on this whole Sean Taylor thing, but I think all of can agree that no matter how you look at it, it's sad. It's not something you make tasteless jokes about. With Leather and others have all put joking aside when it comes to a young father's death. But these guys haven't. I'm not saying to do it, but if anyone knows how to make this site crash and never come back again or something, I wouldn't complain if you did.

    Flatusyahu.com is terribly unfunny.

No matter how you slice it, a father was asleep in his bedroom when someone forced their way in and killed him. That is undeniably a tragedy no matter what the victim did or didn't do years ago.

It is sad that some people feel the need to resort to tactless "jokes" and/or imply that Taylor deserved to die.

I thought it would take 3-4 days to get tired of talking about Taylor, I was wrong, it only took one day.

I will not grace the link with a hit. May God bless Mr. Taylors family at this time.
    • Did you have any that lived?

unacceptable is just the word for it. no matter what happened in his past, he was young and recently a father, and his death is a tragedy, therefore people making fun of it like that are just being disrespectful and uncalled for. a loss of life calls for reflection and remembrance, not rudeness
  • connor
That is ridiculous. Flat out wrong, disrespectful, and cruel. People who think it is free speech need to realize that it is not free if it is harming people.

this from a guy who thinks its funny to post a story about a 13 year old driving his drunk dad home.

not cool. both the post sb is talking about and yours.

      thumbs down to you, connor.

What did I do? I did not post shit about a drunk dad.
  • OK
Unacceptable. Indeed. So its unacceptable to "disrespect" a football player who was a screw up and who may or may not have been trying to turn things around and who was shot. But yet its acceptable to trash a football player who was a screw up and turned himself around but didn't get shot. Instead he became a motivational speaker. But this guy is a douchebag, right? What if Mercury Morris walked in front of a bus tomorrow? Is he then to be accorded the same respect as Sean Taylor, or is he a douchebag still? And your problem with him shilling hair treatment. Guess who shilled the same treatment, Suzy RedSox? One Wade Boggs. Douchebag also?
Your hypocrisy is stunning, as is that of the sanctimonious stooges that comprise your readership. Perhaps if you knew a bit more about what you are talking about, you'd realize that the perfect season in football is one of footballs most cherished accomplishments and that the men who acheived it deserve a bit of arrogance. But you know all about arrogance, as do most of those who sniff Bill Belichek's jock. Leave it to a bubbleheaded poseur to defend one of the most reviled teams in NFL history at the expense of one its most beloved.

Damn that's really sad right there I know his family is going through some grieving and tough times right now. R.I.P. to Sean Taylor even though you didn't live in it. I don't know him personally but he was a great safety, somebody's son, somebody's dad and a lot of peoples friend.
