Dan Stein continues his position-by-position breakdown of the Miami Hurricanes, this time tackling Tight Ends:
"Tonight we will take a look at the tight end position, which tailed off last season after almost a decade of dominance. The season that was: A procession from Mondriel Fulcher to Bubba Franks to Jeremy Shockey to Kellen Winslow II to Greg Olson left Miami fans expecting nothing but excellence from the position. However, in the first year of Patrick Nix's offense, the position was less utilized and less productive. No player stepped up as an integral piece of the offense, though Dedrick Epps did show potential. This season Epps looks to become a bigger part of the offense and separate himself from his competition. DajLeon Farr, who started part of last season, transferred to Memphis during the offseason..."
