The school, in an effort to curb disruptive drunks, will deploy "continue a pilot program intended to curb students' excessive drinking at Badger football games during the upcoming 2008-'09 football season," according to The Daily Cardinal.

They're just doing that to sell more beer AT the game.
Although I got sick of paying $11 for cocktails at the Warriors game so I figured out how to sneak in booze. Don't tell anyone.

This is not my method - but if you have a lady friend that is willing to take one for the team you could always get her the "wine rack". It's like a camel back but more of a camel "front". (no nasty jokes pls)

Erm, the Big Ten does not allow for booze sales at any sporting events. For that matter, the Big Ten does not even like to advertise booze, which is one of the reasons they started the BTN (they felt that the ESPN family relied too much on the benevolence of brewers and/or distillers). So, no, they're not trying to sell more beer at the game, because they can't. You have to remember that these are good-ol' Midwestern boys. ;-)

Still, I agree with Lisa. They are going to have a lot of fun trying to enforce this one. Still, if they can keep the louts out, then I would support that, which seems to be what they are trying to do. Still, how do they know who, among ticketed patrons, has been kicked out of the stadium before?
