Maryland LB Demetrius Hartsfield broke his hand and LB Adrian Moten suffered a thigh contusion -- more bad news for a beleaguered defense. That came on top of losing 42-32 to Wake Forest and surrendering 516 total yards. "We obviously played poorly in the first half," coach Friedgen said of the opening 30 minutes that saw Wake take a 35-10 lead.
