Tyrone Williams has made his choice; he will become a Buckeye in 2010. He shared that he committed for one reason. “I couldn’t wait. I just like it down there. I like the school, the coaches, the players, Terrelle Pryor. I was ready.”

Williams is a 6’7”, 215 pound wide receiver out of East Cleveland Shaw. He is the 12th member of Ohio State’s 2010 recruiting class, and the second receiver in the class. His surgically repaired knee from a year ago is 100%. Williams shared, "…..now it’s better than before I tore it up.” He is big, strong, and fast, having grown 2 inches and gaining 15 pounds over the summer. Scout.com ranks him the number 33 receiver nationally, and Rivals ranks him at 44. Williams is the top-rated receiver coming out of the Buckeye state. He also was considering offers from Cincinnati, West Virginia, and Big-10 rival Illinois. West Virginia was the only other school Williams visited.
His choice in coming to Ohio State also had a little to do with The Shoe. He shared, “From the first time I saw the original stadium, I knew I would like to play on that field.” I’m sure Buckeye fans can’t wait to see the 6’7” Williams catching balls from 6’6” quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
