The Longhorns 2011 season was derailed by Mack Brown's inability to make a decision at QB and stick with it, and heading into camp this summer he was still dancing between Ash and McCoy. Ash won the job, and looked solid early, before falling into a slump around the Oklahoma game and never recovering. Since then he's been starting games, digging the Longhorns into holes, and heading to the bench to watch McCoy come in and provide a spark and some life to the Texas offense, echoing the old days when Major Applewhite would have to save the day after a lackluster Chris Simms performance.
After all that Brown is benching Ash, and McCoy will make his first career...
