Woodson leaves Tide for S. Alabama
Former Alabama receiver Danny Woodson is transferring to South Alabama.
Woodson, who grew up in Mobile, played in six games and had one catch as a redshirt freshman for the Crimson Tide in 2012.
He will have to sit out this coming season because of NCAA rules and will have two years of eligibility left.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Woodson was suspended for a violation of team rules...
