Friends of the Program:
This is, allegedly, AJ McCarron’s Yukon. I don’t know this for certain because, as you can see, he isn’t in the car in this picture. But, I think, given the vanity license plate and the #10s on the taillights, it’s safe to assume that this is indeed the Alabama quarterback’s truck (either that or somebody REALLY loves AJ McCarron). This car is apparently parked in the back of the Tuscaloosa Mall, the same Tuscaloosa Mall that houses “Ttown menswear”, a place of business, you might recall, has run afoul of the NCAA concerning its relationship with current Alabama football players from time to time.
Now, I am in no way insinuating that AJ MCarron is parking in the back of a mall so that the prying public won’t see him going in to Ttown Menswear to sign memerobilia in return for cash payment. That’d be presumptuous and reckless on my part for writing it and unfair on your part for assuming it. Maybe AJ McCarron really likes the hot pretzels served in the food court, or perhaps Hot

He’s still not 100% following knee surgery, but Trent Richardson still showcased his obscene amount of athletic ability at Alabama’s Pro Day on Thursday. His forty times haven’t been blazing, but he’s certainly not in top form, either. One thing that does appear to be in top form, however, is his blocking (or at least [...]
What do you give the highest paid college football coach in the nation? Well, if you are defending national champion Alabama, you give him a raise.
In the midst of a spring practice that, by all accounts, is going well, Nick Saban received a contract extension with an immediate bump in salary to 5.3 million, an increase of 550,000 over what he would have made in 2012 under his old...

There are physical traits of Dre Kirkpatrick’s game would seem to make him a natural replacement for Cedric Griffin, but what does NFL Scouting think of the Alabama cornerback that is set to visit the Vikings? There are aspects that make him a great fit and then there are concerns.
All eyes were on Courtney Upshaw, Mark Barron and Trent Richardson, but Alabama wasn't the only pro day of note for the Packers.
On March 7, Alabama had its Pro Day, and every NFL team had scouts and/or coaches in Tuscaloosa to look at prospective former Crimson Tide players in anticipation of the NFL draft in late April. But because three Bama players were unable to participate on March 7, the Crimson Tide hosted Pro Day II Thursday.
If you like surprises, watch the Alabama baseball team. In some games, the Crimson Tide comes up with great pitching and defense. In some games, Bama comes up with fine hitting. What would be a pleasant surprise would be for the team to put them together on a consistent basis.
Darren Lake, defensive tackle from York-Sumter Central, Ala., signed with the Crimson Tide in February. He is training hard in the off-season preparing for the arrival in Tuscaloosa. Andrew Bone caught up with the UA signee who discussed more of his routine.
