Texas AD: College football could split
If we’ve learned any lessons in all this conference realignment mess, it’s that the big boys have a stranglehold on college football…again. For a little while, it seemed like they were losing the strong footing they developed in the late 90s with the creation of the BCS. The emergence of “small” schools like Boise State, [...]

It gives the school another jersey to sell to diehards, putting a few more bucks in the coffers. This isn’t out of the norm for what many programs are now doing. Luckily...

Should Texas “force” a more balanced offense in coming weeks?
The 2011 Texas Longhorns football team runs the ball well, you could even say with dominance. The efforts of true freshmen Joe Bergeron and Malcolm Brown, combined with the explosive speed of D.J. Monroe and the veteran smarts and elusivness of Fozzy Whittaker have made the running back unit for Texas one to be reckoned with.
Regardless, Mack Brown mentioned in his morning press...
