The Alabama Crimson Tide are reportedly pursuing a Tennessee Vols player that recently entered the NCAA transfer portal.
According to 247Sports' Chris Hummer, Alabama is one of the programs interested in Vols defensive lineman Tyler Baron. 247Sports reported that Alabama has already reached out to talented pass rusher.
Baron, a former four-star recruit from Knoxville, entered the portal earlier this month after spending four seasons at Tennessee. In those four seasons, Baron totaled 13.5 sacks and 27 tackles for loss.
247Sports also reported that Baron will be in Oxford on Thursday for a visit to Ole Miss.
Several schools are in the mix for Tennessee edge transfer Tyler Baron, including Ole Miss, which will host him for an official visit today.
