FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Former Arkansas quarterback Casey Dick has done well for himself down the road from the stadium in which he spent four seasons. His Fayetteville Bulldogs finally got over the hump in 2023, winning a state championship against rival Bentonville, 22-16.

For recruits around the country, Fayetteville is starting to turn heads as a destination for exceptional high school recruits to excel similar to Little Rock Parkview. With 3-star quarterback Garyt Odom, son of former Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry, transferring to the Bulldogs has caused a minor domino effect as his close friend decided to make a move, per Richard Davenport of Whole Hog Sports.

Current UNLV commit Parker Meese, a 4-star linebacker per Rivals, will join Odom and the Bulldogs. He received 31 offers, including Arkansas, Oregon, Texas A&M, Penn State, Michigan, Auburn and many others before pledging with the Rebels. Meese played in three games with IMG Academy last season, totaling eight tackles.

The 6-2, 220 pound outside linebacker began his high school playing career at Parish Episcopal School in Dallas before heading to Bradenton, Florida at IMG. He earned MaxPreps second team All-American honors as a sophomore making 70 stops and 5.5 tackles for loss.

Meese is the No. 17 linebacker in his class and No. 62 player in the state of Florida, per Rivals.

Arkansas currently holds four commitments in the 2025 class headlined by 4-star running back Jamarion Parker and kicker Evan Noel, both from St. Louis. 3-star quarterback Grayson Wilson of Little Rock and 3-star running back Markeylin Barron have also made verbal pledges to the Razorbacks.
