Ryan Burger doesn't have a ton of experience as a college quarterback just yet, but he may not need to make a living as a gunslinger if his new NIL deal with a local bar and restaurant in Boone, North Carolina works out.
Burger, a redshirt freshman for Appalachian State, recently announced a NIL deal with a local restaurant known as The Cardinal.
Brilliantly, The Cardinal will start offering "The Ryan Burger" burger on its menu. Even more brilliant than the deal, though, was the announcement video.
It features Burger, in slow motion, tossing the actual burger to a friend running a deep route. And it was such a good throw from Burger, in fact, that "The Ryan Burger" left Boone and was able to visit the pyramids of Egypt, the Great Wall of China and even the International Space Station before being caught.
I am excited to announce my partnership with The Cardinal in Boone! All season long, “The Ryan Burger” burger will be available! #BurgerTime ⏰ pic.twitter.com/5LuYQoGEuU

If that's not prime-time advertising this writer doesn't know what is.
Burger also sold his namesake burger, posting that it features two blackened all-beef patties, Carolina Gold BBQ sauce, Ashe County cheddar, tobacco onions, bacon, local greens, and Duke’s mayo on a Carter’s bakery bun.
I'm telling you folks, this kid is a natural.
