Tiger Gumbo:
About 30 prospects are expected to descend on Williams-Brice Stadium this Saturday for the showdown between No. 12-ranked LSU (4-1, 2-1 SEC) and South Carolina (5-2, 2-2). Three of them in particular are blue-chippers the Tigers clearly would love to get their paws on.
One is safety DeVonte Holloman (6-foot-2, 214 pounds), who hails from Rock Hills (S.C.) South Pointe, a little more than an hour north of Columbia.
Holloman, the nation's No. 3-rated safety and ranked as the No. 20 prospect on the ESPNU 150, decommitted from Clemson earlier this week after coach Tommy Bowden was fired.
