Big Ten Football Week 11 Preview
My Record…..56-23 70.8%
Wisconsin (6-3, 3-2) @ Indiana (4-5, 2-3) Noon ESPN2: The Badgers lead the all-time series with the Hoosiers 38-18-2 and have won the last seven meetings…Brett Bielema has won all six of his meetings with Indiana and in those games his Badgers have scored over 50 points four times and even scored 83 on the Hoosiers in 2010…I like IU’s ability to not only move the ball, but score points in this one…but can they string together three straight Big Ten W’s for the first time since 1993?…If they do, they are in the driver’s seat to represent the Leaders Division for the Big Ten title…I think the Badgers win this one by grinding out the running game…but it will be close game…Badgers 35-31…
Purdue (3-6, 0-5) @ Iowa (4-5, 2-3) Noon Big Ten Network: Purdue leads the all-time series with the Hawkeyes 45-34-3…Iowa has won five of the last six including the last six at Kinnick….Purdue has only five wins in the last 14 meetings and only one win at Kinnick in their last 12 tries…on top of all that history, I can’t think of a single time over the past 15 or 16 years where a Boilermaker team has looked as lost as this current one does….underachieving on defense..inept on offense…and a coach search that, if it hasn’t already begun then it’s just another thing Purdue has fallen behind the immense 8 ball that looms over the West Lafayette campus….Iowa bounces back and halts their current three game losing streak…Hawks win at home 30-24
Northwestern (7-2, 3-2) @ Michigan (6-3, 4-1) Noon ESPN: Michigan leads the all-time series with the Wildcats 53-15-2 and has won six of the last seven meetings…Northwestern has only won six times in 41 tries in Ann Arbor but that includes a 21-14 victory the last time they played at Michigan Stadium…It will be interesting to see how the Michigan defense stacks up against Venric Mark, Kain Colter and the Wildcat offense…but I think the Michigan defense will probably give up a couple of TD’s and maybe a FG but can the Wildcats stop the Michigan rushing attack?…I have a hunch Michigan will breakout vs Northwestern…look for Fitz Toussaint and Thomas Rawls to have huge games and Michigan to win…Blue beats the Cats 34-17.
Minnesota (5-4, 1-4) @ Illinois (2-7, 0-5) 3:30pm Big Ten Network: Minnesota leads the all-time series with the Fighting Illini 34-28-3 and they have won three of the last four meetings including three straight at Memorial Stadium….The Illini are reeling…with teams that are playing as bad as Illinois is the odds are in their favor to put together a game in which they play well enough to win…the ingredients are there…home game, backs up against the wall, a team that they match-up well against….but I saw more of out the Gophers in a loss last week than I have in Illinois all season…maybe the week that the Fighting Illini gets it all to come together is next week…I think Jerry Kill and his staff needs this one a little more…a road win would do wonders for moral over there…Gophers win on the road 27-23.
Penn State (6-3, 4-1) @ Nebraska (7-2, 4-1) 3:30pm ABC: The all-time series is all square at 7 wins a side…Nebraska has won three of the last four including the last time they played in Lincoln…the Corn is a much better team at home then they are on the road..you have two of the top 5 defensive teams playing in this one…what I like about this one is the Nittany Lions passing attack…I was less than impressed by the defense I saw from the Corn in their last couple outings…Nebraska should be able to run the ball to get the W here…Martinez will get enough out of HB Abdullah and that should open the passing lanes for Taylor…Nebraska wins 28-24.

Nebraska has been winning despite the error of its ways. The 18th-ranked Cornhuskers don't want to tempt fate Saturday against a Penn State team that hasn't lost a Big Ten road game this season.
The Huskers (7-2, 4-1 Big Ten) figure they need to play as clean a game as possible against the Nittany Lions (6-3, 4-1) to maintain the inside track to the Legends Division title...

The staff here at Nittany Lions Den has a bit of a mixed opinion on this week's game, with Penn State looking to continue their road dominance in Big Ten play at Nebraska. Can Penn State improve to 4-0 on the road in Big Ten games before returning home to wrap up the 2012 season at home, keeping their Leaders Division championship scenarios in play? Or will Nebraska prove to be...
(Eds: Updates with quotes, details. With AP Photos.) By ERIC OLSON AP Sports Writer All it took was one catch to change Jamal Turner's outlook.
Before he scored the game-winning touchdown with six seconds left against Michigan State last week, Turner had been worried about the direction of his football career at Nebraska.
He hadn't scored in his first 20 games. There were...
