Brady Hoke. Is calling the weaker non-conference opponents of BCS powerhouses "cupcakes" on it's way out? Michigan head football coach Brady Hoke decided to skip the "cupcake" reference to the Wolverines' week three opponent Akron, and instead went the Homer Simpson route, possibly referring to the match-up against the Zips as "a glazed doughnut game." Hoke: "It's a glazed donut game. Starts at noon. We like those games." — Nick Baumgardner (@nickbaumgardner) September 9, 2013 Hoke didn't actually call Akron a glazed doughnut, but the Wolverines certainly cannot be considered soft after beating Notre Dame. Someone might want to remind Hope about the Appalachian State-Michigan game in 2007. (via College Spun)
