FLORIDA GATORS RUMORS & GOSSIP
The Gators currently have eight commits in their 2014 class and could be getting closer to adding a ninth player after news came out earlier this week that four-star prospect J.C. Jackson (Immokalee, Fla./Immokalee) has decommitted from arch-rival Florida State.
Jackson, an athlete who can play both cornerback and wide receiver, initially committed to FSU in March 2012.

In last April’s NFL draft the Florida Gators football team had a total of eight players drafted, defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd, safeties Matt Elam and Josh Evans, linebackers Jon Bostic and Jelani Jenkins, tight end Jordan Reed, running back Mike Gillislee and kicker Caleb Sturgis. The question now becomes how will the Gators replace these players? Let’s take a look at some...
LITTLE NICKY
Alabama head football coach Nick Saban says he is hurt over comments by Florida offensive line coach Tim Davis, who referred to his former boss as “the devil himself.”
TEARS OF A CLOWN
Members of the Florida Gators coaching staff are continuing with their ridiculous tweets in an attempt to lure recruits to Gainesville. All of them are accompanied with the hashtag, #comeplayforthejoker. We’ve seen Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholsen’s Joker, we’ve seen a Kentucky Derby race horse, and even Harry Potter. Now we have the Jokers band. Sigh: From what we understand...
EVIL INCARNATE
Gators offensive line coach Tim Davis, commenting on head coach Will Muschamp working with Nick Saban, said he "coached under the devil himself for seven years."
Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp is the latest sports personality who does not understand hashtags.
I don’t know why they call it a hash tag I call it a number sign #makesnosense

Number signs or hastags aside Muschamp will look for a better finish this coming year after their crushing defeat in the Sugar Bowl at the hands of...
LORD HAVE MERCY
Vonn Bell, a highly recruited safety, recently revealed that his decision to go play for the Ohio State Buckeyes was the result of divine intervention.
This may never get old, we hope. Florida assistant coach Joker Phillips got our week started with yet another fun little Photoshop job, or perhaps it was an MS Paint job for all we know. This time Phillips takes us in to space to try and recruit wide receivers to come play for him. #Gators are leaders, not followers. #comeplaywrforthejoker twitter.com/jokerphillips/…...
Coming off a year in which he was anything but sure, Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter is set to count $2.7 against the cap in 2013. On Saturday the team selected kicker Caleb Sturgis out of Florida with the 166th overall pick in the NFL draft.
Sturgis was the first kicker selected in the draft ahead of Dustin Hopkins who later was selected by the Bills with pick 177.
In his last season...
New Florida Gators wide receivers coach Joker Phillips appears to have gotten the knack for grabbing the attention of fans and potential recruits with his brilliant yet bizarre forays into the use of social media. In late March, Phillips played upon his nickname with a creepy tweet featuring a Photoshop of Heath Ledger’s portrayal of Joker with the hashtag “#ComePlayWRforTheJoker”...

BLASPHEMY!
The Florida Gators legend recently admitted that with his former coach Urban Meyer at the helm, he has developed into a "pretty big fan" of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
We all make mistakes in life and this Florida Gator themed back tattoo will probably be one of them. It’s meant to look like Gator scales bursting through the skin but instead it kind of looks like a certain feminine part that I’d prefer not to mention by name. I’m sure you guys (and girls) can figure this one out on your own.
The idea of getting Gator scales actually seems...
