Found August 17, 2009 on Bleacher Report:
As per SUAthletics.com, Doug Marrone has named his starting quarterback. In a surprise move (to me at least), former Duke point guard Greg Paulus has been pegged as the starting quarterback in Syracuse.  This comes as a bit of a shock, because Marrone has stated he would name the starter somewhere around a week and a half before the opener against Minnesota on September 5th. As far as I know, former first stringer Ryan Nassib had been impressive in camp and was still ahead until today. All I can say is good luck to Greg and I really hope he gives Syracuse the best chance to win games. Go Orange!
