The Ohio State Buckeyes football program is known for feeding the NFL some of its greatest players. The Buckeyes claim the most-ever NFL first-round draft picks with 90, and the third-most NFL draft picks overall with 485.

The 2023 season is no different, with several former Buckeyes football greats littering NFL rosters all over the country. Current players from the NFL annually vote on the NFL Top 100 players in the league, and this year, seven came from Columbus, the second-most of any collegiate program. The only program to claim more players in the top 100 than the Buckeyes is the dreaded Alabama Crimson Tide.

The Buckeyes ranked as follows:

94. WR Terry McLaurin - McLaurin anchors a Washington Commanders team hoping to make strides in 2023 with a new ownership group and a new outlook. Last season, McLaurin caught 77 passes for 1,191 yards and five touchdowns.

89. CB Marshon Lattimore - Lattimore and the Saints also hope to be more relevant in '23. While playing in only seven games last season, Lattimore registered one pick-6 and four passes defended.

86. QB Justin Fields - This is Fields' first appearance on the NFL Top 100 and hopes to prove he's more than just a glorified ball-carrier. Last season in 15 games for the Bears, Fields threw for 2,242 yards on 192-of-312 passing and 17 touchdowns to just 11 interceptions.

74. WR Garrett Wilson - Wilson is the reigning Offensive Rookie of the. Year, and hopes to build on his successful 2022 campaign that saw him catch 83 balls for 1,103 yards and four touchdowns.

70. DE Joey Bosa - Joey continues his defensive prowess in Los Angeles with the Chargers but played in only five games last season due to injury. Making the most of his limited time on the field, he amassed one forced fumble, 2.5 sacks, 10 tackles with eight solo and three for loss, and six quarterback hits.

45. DT Cameron Heyward - Heyward will enter his 13th season in the NFL and is still ranked among the top players overall. Last season, Heyward played in all 17 games for the Steelers and registered four passes defended, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 10.5 sacks, 74 total tackles with 39 solos and 14 for loss. He also claims 23 quarterback hits.

4. DE Nick Bosa - Bosa continues his NFL dominance in a 49ers uniform as he tallied two forced fumbles, 51 tackles, 41 solo and 19 for loss, a league-leading 18.5 sacks, and 48 quarterback hits in 16 games in 2022.
