Dave Curtis Cincinnati QB Tony Pike planned to throw Friday afternoon and again Saturday before kickoff of the No. 5 Bearcats' game with Louisville. A source told Sporting News on Friday that Pike has some pain and swelling in his injured left wrist. Pike hurt the wrist last week at South Florida, and doctors operated on it Tuesday to repair a plate inserted last year. If the pain and swelling proves too much, Cincinnati will start either Zach Collaros or Chazz Anderson at quarterback. Collaros scored two rushing touchdowns in relief of Pike against the Bulls.
