Clemson has 10 players projected to go in the 2024 NFL Draft, per insider.

Clemson's defense is stacked entering the fall. Multiple big-time players, including three-time All-ACC defensive lineman Tyler Davis, elected to return to Clemson instead of jumping to the NFL. That senior leadership, along with a host of other great defenders, puts the unit among the best in the land.

With that said, they can't stay at Clemson forever. And according to ESPN insider Jordan Reid, the Tigers could see a mass exodus of talent coming after the season. Reid has 10 players from Clemson projected to go in the 2024 NFL Draft. That would be a Clemson record in the modern-draft era.

Davis, along with Ruke Orhorhoro, are obvious locks on the defensive line, but Xavier Thomas, with a big year, could see his name called. For linebackers Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and Barrett Carter, it's not if they'll get drafted, it's when? Both 'backers could go as early as the second round, and Carter could push for the first. In the secondary, Andrew Mukuba and Nate Wiggins have all the intangibles to be long-term solutions for an NFL franchise. Jalyn Phillips and Sheridan Jones will get a look as well.

Offensively, the pickings are a little bit slimmer, but that could change by the end of the season. Running back Will Shipley is a lock. He's just too versatile not to be drafted. After Shipley, however, the choices aren't as obvious. Walker Parks and Will Putnam on the line could go, but there's a ton of talent coming out at their positions. With a big season, wide receiver Beaux Collins could be selected, but the junior hasn't been able to consistently show up.
