Clemson Loses Another Star Player A Day After Losing A New Player In Their 2024 Class
Ken Ruinard / staff / USA TODAY NETWORK

Clemson has had a rough two days, and all Tigers fans can thank the spring transfer portal for that. Two major Tigers went into the portal on Sunday and Monday, and now they will have to go into the portal themselves to fill these roles.

Clemson Lost Adam Kissayi On Sunday

On Sunday, Clemson saw defensive end Adam Kissayi enter the portal after only being on campus for a few months. Kissayi was part of the 2024 recruiting class, so he only participated in a Tigers uniform in spring ball. Then he decided to leave, and he wasn’t the only player on the team to pack his bags.

The Tigers Lost Another Important Player On Monday

According To Matt Zenitz from 247sports.com, second-year offensive lineman Zack Owens has entered the transfer portal. Owens was a top-200 recruit in the 2023 class, and he will be looking for a new home this spring.

Dabo Swinney Is Going To Have To Adjust

Clemson has had three down seasons in the last year since failing to reach the playoffs, but along with Alabama and Georgia, they have been one of the most dominant college teams in the previous ten years.

There have been a lot of problems inside the Tigers program in the last few years, and it has to do with the head coach, Dabo Swinney, failing to adapt to the transfer portal, which has left many fans angry.

Swinney must adapt to the portal, or he and the Tigers will be left behind for many years.
