Matt Barkley USC Trojans

isportsweb Top 25 College football poll- Preseason Edition

  1. USC- two reasons…not an SEC school (easier schedule) and Matt Barkley..
  2. Alabama- The best offensive line in the country and a QB who doesn’t cause TO’s
  3. LSU- Les Miles does nothing but reload, they will be there in November
  4. Oregon- The O is always the story, but the Ducks may have their best D ever…
  5. Stanford- New QB in Palo Alto, but who cares?…all they do is run the ball…
  6. Georgia- 15 starters back to team that only lost to MSU, LSU, SC and Boise
  7. Oklahoma- I just get the feeling that Bob Stoops is hiding in the long, tall grass…
  8. South Carolina- If only Spurrier could keep his teams focus for 13 or 14 games..
  9. Oklahoma State- lots of talent here, but replacing Weeden and Blackmon is rough..
  10. Wisconsin- The Leaders division is theirs to lose…keep Ball healthy or season is over..
  11. Florida State- 17 starters back…most in the ACC and it’s time for EJ Manuel to shine..
  12. Nebraska- if they can win all of their non-Big Ten games, they could be scary good..
  13. West Virginia- Geno Smith is awesome, but can they win it in their 1st year in the Big 12
  14. Texas- some are saying they have some of the best HB’s in the NCAA…
  15. Michigan- Denard has to limit TO’s and the D line has to be great…
  16. Kansas State- The Wildcats need to develop cohesiveness on the offensive line…
  17. Michigan St- one of the best D’s in the nation….QB and WR’s must play well.
  18. TCU- just like KSU, the Frogs need to put together a O line to have success…
  19. Arkansas- They may have talent, but I have zero faith in JLS ability to be a head coach..
  20. Boise State- the Broncos are breaking in a new QB.Joe Southwick..check back in 2 years.
  21. Southern Mississippi- Can get the season off to great start by beating Corn in Lincoln..
