Colorado lands surprise commitment from top-ranked 2024 offensive lineman

IMG Academy offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is a big-time get for head coach Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. Literally, and figuratively.

Seaton, a five-star recruit, is the consensus No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 class at 6-foot-5, 287 pounds. He committed to Coach Prime and the Buffs on Thursday. He made his decision on "Undisputed" with Skip Bayless, Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson.

"For the next three or four years I'm going to be going to the University of Colorado," Seaton told the shocked panel. "Hey Prime, how you doing?"

The shock had to do with the fact that many in the recruiting community were expecting Seaton to be down to a decision between Alabama, Florida, Oregon, Ohio State and Tennessee. Colorado was in the mix, but this was a massive upset for Coach Prime.

It wasn't his first, though, and it won't be his last. Not with the way players are talking about Sanders.

"You gotta believe in Coach Prime," Seaton said. "Having an opportunity to play with somebody whose done it at the highest level -- gold jacket level. If you ain’t rocking with us and you say you're a dog, you claim you a dog, why you not coming to Colorado?"

Seaton is expected to immediately be a starter as a freshman.
