Former Georgia running back Daijun Edwards took the podium on Friday at the NFL combine ahead of him showcasing his talents this weekend. During the interview, he discussed his journey at Georgia along with a variety of other things such as being coached by Dell McGee.
Not only does Edwards have an extended relationship with coach McGee who recently took the head coaching job at Georgia State, but he had some overlap with the Bulldogs' new running back coach as well. Josh Crawford was with Edwards for a year at Colquitt County High School and Edwards said that Georgia is getting, "A serious guy, he don't play."
Coming out of high school, Edwards was not one of the premiere backs in his recruiting class according to the rankings, so he talked about his journey over the years at Georgia and working his way up the depth chart. Here is the full interview with Edwards:
