Denard Robinson refused the credit just like he always does. Yet in the biggest game of Michigan's season, he did what Chad Henne, Tate Forcier and Robinson himself couldn't do over the previous seven years: He beat the Buckeyes, winning, 40-34. As U-M coach Brady Hoke said, no one man wins it alone, but Robinson did his best to try.
(AP) Denard Robinson accounted for five touchdowns, helping Michigan (No. 15 BCS, No. 17 AP) beat Ohio State 40-34 on Saturday and snap a school-record seven-game losing streak against the Wolverines' archrival.
When he was recruited by Michigan, Jon Horford was seen as a player who had raw skills but needed time to develop. After his career-high 12-point performance against UCLA in the Maui Invitational, Horford offered a hint of his potential. He played significant minutes in the opener against Memphis and Wednesday against the Bruins, and both times produced an impressive stat line.
