Sam Bradford the Oklahoma senior quarterback came back for his final season only to get hurt. Many people thought it was a mistake and in many people's eyes that is exactlywhat happen. Bradford was hoping to lead Oklahoma to a National Championship and that will not happen. He probably hurt his draft status as well and maybe cost him some big dollars. Now he will have surgery on his shoulder and see if he can perform at the combines. On the other hand though maybe Bradford did not make a mistake.
Yes he did get injured and hurt his draft stock. Last year he would have been a top 10 pick and would have been paid good money. His stock has dropped and he will lose a nice chunk of money, but in reality maybe it was best for him. By dropping down he will not have as much pressure on himself.
This will let Bradford prepare for the season the right way instead of being thrown into the fire. He will not be rushed to play and his shoulder can heal fully and be the quarterback that many people think he can. So in a way maybe this is the best thing that could have happen to Sam Bradford.
