The Tennessee Vols are reportedly receiving a visit this weekend from an elite transfer offensive lineman.

According to On3's Pete Nakos, LSU offensive tackle Zalance Heard visited Oklahoma on Friday before finishing his weekend with a trip to Tennessee.

Heard, a former five-star recruit who was a true freshman for the Tigers this past season, entered the NCAA transfer portal this week after playing in all 12 regular season games (with one start) for LSU in 2023. The Louisiana native would fill a major need for the Volunteers.

Tennessee needs to land a transfer offensive tackle after Gerald Mincey, who started at right tackle for the Vols in 2023, entered the portal earlier this week. Mincey previously transferred from Florida to Tennessee ahead of the 2022 season.

The Vols are also in the market for a transfer offensive guard.
