Kenny Demens and Jordan Kovacs Michigan Football will host Iowa on Saturday afternoon at the Big House. Kick off is scheduled for 12:01pm (EST) and the game will be televised on ESPN. For a complete game preview, click here: Iowa at Michigan. For the Extra Points, read on. Iowa has won the last 3 games in this series. Michigan leads the all-time series with a 40-13-4 record. This one almost didn’t hold up last week: Under Brady Hoke, Michigan is 17-0 when they score 20 points or more. They are 1-5 when they don’t. Michigan’s defense has not allowed 200 passing yards in a single game this season. Michigan ranks 1st nationally in passing defense and 11th in total defense. Brady Hoke has not lost a home game as Michigan’s head coach. He has won all 13 so far. ESPNs accuscore projects Michigan to win 36-21. Teamrankings.com has the Wolverines winning 34-17 and numberFire likes Michigan to by a final score of 28-19. In Big Ten play, Michigan ranks first in the conference in scoring defense (15.0 ppg), total defense (280.5 avg.) and pass defense (145.7 avg.). Devin Gardner is the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. Gardner has led the Wolverines to consecutive victories over Minnesota and Northwestern, completing 28-of-47 passes for 520 yards and four scores and carrying the ball 19 times for 68 yards and three touchdowns. Michigan has 5 players with at least 200 yards receiving this season, including Gardner who has 16 receptions for 266 yards and 4 TDs. Our Big Ten Football analyst, Chad Godfrey, pointed out to me this week that Michigan has 18 players who have registered a tackle for loss. Jake Ryan is second in the Big Ten with 12 TFLs. Brendan Gibbons has connected on 11 straight field goal attempts. That streak, ranks second in school history behind Remy Hamilton, who converted 14-straight field goals in 1996. Gibbons now has 28 career field goals and needs one more to tie Bob Bergeron for 6th on Michigan’s all-time list. Dennis Norfleet has 735 kick return yards this season. That is the second best single season total in school history, Darryl Stonum had 1,001 kick return yards during the 2009 season. Jeremy Gallon leads Michigan in receptions (29), receiving yards (484) and receiving yards per game (48.4). You can follow me on Twitter @isportsRob This will be the final home game for Michigan’s 23 seniors. Senior defensive end Craig Roh is tied for 14th on Michigan’s all-time sack list with 10.5 career sacks. He leads the Wolverines with 4.5 sacks this season. Senior receiver Roy Roundtree is tied with Amani Toomer on Michigan’s all-time receptions list with 143 career catches. Tai Streets is in 7th place with 144 career receptions and David Terrell is 6th with 152. With 7 more tackles, senior safety Jordan Kovacs will pass Andy Moeller and move into 12th place on Michigan’s career tackle list. Senior linebacker Kenny Demens has notched double digit tackles in each of the last two games. Demens has played in a team-high 49 career games. Senior cornerback JT Floyd leads the team with 5 pass break ups. Senior guard Patrick Omameh has started 39 consecutive games which ranks second on the team behind Craig Roh (48). Senior defensive tackle Will Campbell leads all defensive linemen on the team with 32 tackles this season. Related articles Big Ten Football Week 12 Predictions Roy Roundtree’s Amazing Catch
