Gardner has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week in each of the last two weeks. ESPN’s accuscore projects Ohio State to win 34-27. Teamrankings.com has the Buckeyes winning 27-22 and numberFire likes Ohio State by a final score of 27-23. Michigan is 8-1 all-time in overtime games. Jordan Kovacs needs 2 tackles to move past Andy Moeller and into 12th place on Michigan’s all-time tackle list. Roy Roundtree needs 5 receptions to move past David Terrell and into 6th place on Michigan’s all-time receptions list. Will Hagerup, who leads the Big Ten in punting (44.7 avg.). Brendan Gibbons has made 11 consecutive field goals. That streak ranks second in school history to Remy Hamilton’s 14 straight in 1996. Denard Robinson needs 17 yards to move past Brad Smith and into second place on the NCAA’s all-time rushing list for quarterbacks. Jake Ryan leads Michigan in total tackles (75), solo stops (48) and TFLs (13.0). Michigan snapped a six-game losing streak to Ohio State last year in Ann Arbor, 40-34. Those six consecutive wins by the Buckeyes represented the longest winning streak for Ohio State against Michigan. That six-game streak tied the second-longest winning streak for either team in this series and it was the longest streak in 84 years.
