Five UCLA Football Stars Selected for Preseason Pac-12 Teams

Among the shining stars are Laiatu Latu and Darius Muasau, who secured their positions in the Pac-12 First Team All Defense. Both players had remarkable performances in 2022, with Latu leading the team with an impressive 12.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. His prowess on the field ranked him eighth nationwide and second in the Pac-12, boasting an outstanding 0.81 sacks per game mark. 

On the other hand, Muasau led the team in tackles with 91 and claimed the 10th spot in the Pac-12 with an average of 7.0 tackles per game. He consistently contributed with at least four tackles in 10 games, showcasing his invaluable presence on the defensive line.

With Latu and Muasau as the driving force, the Bruins' defense is expected to perform exceptionally well in the upcoming season. They have certainly earned their places in the first-team, and alongside other talented Bruins, they will undoubtedly prove their worth. 

We're also happy to see Carson, Garrett and Duke make their respective teams as well. 

As the season progresses, we hope to see more Bruins making their mark and being recognized for their outstanding performances.
