After three straight weeks of watching the Georgia Bulldogs put 40 or more points on the board and, essentially, shut down opposing offenses in the second half of games, it’s easy to get ahead of yourself and start believing this team is “the one” that’s going all the way. However, it’s a safer bet to keep things in perspective and understand that Georgia has yet to truly be tested. While both Florida Atlantic and Buffalo hung tight longer than most figured they should have, and Mizzou gave the Bulldogs a nasty road scare for about three-and-a-half quarters, the real tests of their legitimacy begin in the coming weeks with seven straight SEC contests: Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Auburn, and Vanderbilt all wait with baited breath to knock the Bulldogs off their perch as the darlings of the SEC. And you can bet that not a one of them is going to do down without a serious fight. That said, neither Aaron Murray, nor the rest of his teammates are soaking up the accolade...

After a dominant performance that earned numerous defensive honors, Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones is sitting out against Florida Atlantic because of a nagging groin injury.

ATHENS - Todd Gurley talks about Georgia's win over FAU.
I’m not one to get giddy about a big game against an opponent Georgia should have laid waste to, but even I was impressed by the sheer number of ways Georgia was able to get on the board after a slow start Saturday. Chief among those ways was the passing game and Bulldog receiver Michael Bennett found a way to shake off the hex of three dropped passes at Mizzou last week—in...

ATHENS - Aaron Murray talks about Georgia's record day and 56-20 win over FAU.
Georgia is leading the SEC in total offense.
Even though 2 of the first 3 games have been against second-tier competition, the offensive firepower shown by the Dawgs in 2012 has been impressive. It will be even more impressive if Georgia's offensive line can overcome its depth issues, injuries and youth, while protecting Aaron Murray and providing running lanes for the teams...

By early in the second quarter, they already had put up more points than that on the seventh-ranked team in the country.
That turned out to be the highlight for the Owls.
