It would seem that things can’t get any worse but sure enough, the Columbus Dispatch is reporting this morning that Daniel Herron and Davier Posey may not be cleared for Saturday night’s game against Nebraska. According to the Dispatch, although Herron and Posey have sat out the five games as required for the tattoo violations, they are under investigation for receiving improper benefits in the way of inflated pay for work done over the summer. The Dispatch reports that Herron received between $200-$400 and Posey received around $500 for work done for Robert DiGeronimo, the same person under investigation for money given to Jordan Hall, Travis Howard and Corey Brown for their service at a charity function. The services provided by Herron and Posey are unclear but the Dispatch reports that DiGeronimo claimed that he has hired a number of Ohio State football players over the years for summer jobs such as washing trucks.
