Injury update: Which Auburn players are out/questionable for the Vanderbilt game?
Maria Lysaker-USA TODAY Sports

Recovery has taken place for the Auburn Tigers ahead of their contest against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Auburn did see two players go down in its win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs, but head coach Hugh Freeze believes they will be good to go.

Which Auburn players are out/questionable/likely for this week's matchup?

Marcus Harris: Likely

Marcus Harris has been a difference-maker on Auburn's defensive line this season. He went down with an injury towards the end of Auburn's win over Mississippi State, but Freeze believes he will be fine for Saturday.

“I think both are going to be fine, nothing that seemed to be lingering," Freeze said about Harris and offensive lineman Izavion Miller.

Harris, a senior who transferred to Auburn from Kansas ahead of the 2021 season, has logged 31 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble and one pass breakup.

Having Harris available is a sigh of relief for the Tigers.

Avery Jones: Unlikely

Avery Jones, a center who transferred to Auburn from East Carolina this offseason, suffered an injury against Ole Miss. He did not play against Mississippi State and freshman Connor Lew started in his place.

There is not a good chance of Jones seeing action against the Commodores this weekend.

Izavion Miller: Likely

Izavion "Too Tall" Miller is a junior offensive lineman. He also went down with an injury against Mississippi State.

Like Harris, Freeze believes that Miller will be ready to play against Vanderbilt on Saturday.
