On Saturday, Texas A&M recorded a dominant 51-10 victory over Mississippi State. And on Sunday, the school fired head football coach Jimbo Fisher.
But moments after the big win, Fisher addressed his team in the locker room, praising their performance in remarks that were caught on video.

"You put them away," he said. "You didn't give them hope to get back in the game. It was a great team effort. A great job."
Based on his comments in the video, it appeared that Fisher was not aware that he would soon be relieved of his position, as he praised the team's effort, hoping that it would finish the regular season as strong, and hopefully get to a good bowl game.
Instead, the school announced that Fisher would be removed from the head coaching position, effective immediately, and triggering a historic $76 million buyout.
"The assessment that I delivered was that we are not reaching our full potential," Texas A&M athletic director Ross Bjork said. "We are not in the championship conversation, and something was not quite right about our direction and the plan."
Texas A&M moved to 6-4 overall and 4-3 in SEC play and will finish out the season against Abilene Christian and rival LSU to close out.
And then it will embark on the long, hard road of finding a new head coach.
