Josh Beckett has been placed on the 15-day DL today. The move is retroactive to August 18th and catcher David Ross has been called up from Pawtucket to fill the empty roster spot. Beckett has had his start moved 3 times in the past week and a half due to finger numbness and right elbow inflammation. He was sent to Dr. James Andrews today and came back with "flawless results."
Josh will resume throwing in a few days. A tentative return date will be next Friday against Texas.
