In his first season at NM State, the Oxnard, CA native quite literally exploded onto the scene, with 96 tackles (9.5 for loss), 3 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. Along the way, Nixon earned 2nd Team All-WAC honors. So who is TraShaun Nixon, and how did he end up at New Mexico State? “Well out of high school I was heavily recruited, with New Mexico State being one of the schools.
