Former UC football  wide receiver Mardy Gilyard joined Dominick Goodman and me on the Bearcat Blitz podcast this week with candid thoughts on his former head coach Brian Kelly.

Kelly left UC to coach Notre Dame prior to the team’s 51-24 Sugar Bowl loss to Florida to close the 2009 season.

Gilyard sits in the top three of most Bearcats-receiving records including receptions, yards, and touchdowns. He was a fourth-round draft pick by the St. Louis Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft.

The UC legend now coaches high school football in Massachusetts. Check out our full interview with Gilyard below.
