TEAMS:
You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tries. The University of Maryland college football team has suffered its fourth season ending injury for a quarterback this season. Freshman Caleb Rowe is the latest casualty to have gone down via a torn ACL. The first three quarterbacks to be injured included Devin Burns with a season ending foot injury, C.J. Brown who tore the ACL in his right knee in August, and his replacement Perry Hills who tore the ACL in his left knee only a week ago in a loss to North Carolina State. This is unheard of, and the Madden curse now seems like child’s play. Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

After injuries, Maryland forced to start true freshman LINEBACKER at quarterback
Maybe it’s all just karma for the way which he left UConn, but whatever the case, there’s no doubt that Randy Edsall’s time at Maryland has been cursed. Beyond a near revolt from the local media after last year’s 2-10 campaign, and beyond any number of high-level players leaving the program via transfer, of the few who’ve stuck around College Park none can seem to stay...

Maryland Forced to Start Linebacker at Quarterback Due to Four Season-Ending Injuries, Three Torn ACLs
Maryland quarterbacks are dropping at an unreal rate.
Saturday's starter, Caleb Rowe, became the fourth Terrapins quarterback lost to season-ending injuries. Rowe tore his ACL late in the fourth quarter in a loss to Boston College, but stayed in for Maryland's final play -- a game clinching interception. The true freshman QB was supposed to redshirt this...
Make That FOUR Maryland QBs Done For The Year
I don't know what's in the water in College Park, or perhaps it's just the Randy Edsall Effect, but the Maryland Terrapins have lost their fourth quarterback to a season ending injury. Throw in the fact that Edsall chased QB Danny O'Brien out of College Park last winter faster than Rommel chased the Allies out of France and that makes it five. C.J. Brown, Perry Hills...
Desperate Terrapins Look for Answers at Quaterback Position
Desperate Terrapins Look for Answers at Quaterback PositionIt’s hard to imagine a program that has been hindered by injury more than the University of Maryland.
As the Terrapins get ready to take on Georgia Tech this Saturday, they’ll be preparing with true freshman quarterback Shawn Petty. For those who aren’t familiar with Petty, he’s not exactly known for his stellar...
And Then There Was None, Maryland's Rowe Out For The Year
We've now officially entered unchartered territory as Maryland has lost an unprecedented 4th QB to a season-ending injury. The new QB is rumored to freshman Linebacker, Shawn Petty, who quarterbacked Greenbelt's Eleanor Roosevelt High School last year. If Petty goes down, which at this point you need to prepare for, Brian McMahon a freshman TE who powered little...
