Well if it wasn’t enough to see Mississippi State put up a billboard advertising how “great” they are in Oxford, home to the Ole Miss REBELS, and then to see Ole Miss retaliate with a billboard of their own that stated how many pro-bowlers they had, now you get to see that Southern Mississippi believes they can run with the big boys.
Southern Miss did just lose their coach Larry Fedora to North Carolina, a bigger program obviously, but they still think that beating Houston and being ranked in the final BCS standings means that they are obviously a better choice in the long run for recruits, and they are going to troll the other two schools in the state while reminding everyone.
Personally, I can’t wait until Pearl River Community College throws up that, “We have Dylan Favre” sign with Brett and Dylan throwing to each other while wearing Wrangler’s in a field with mud and trucks around and trolls both Southern Miss and Miss State.
