Via Larry Brown Sports:

There might not be a collegiate athlete in the country who enjoys his celebrity status more than Johnny Manziel. The Heisman Trophy winner has been living it up the past several months. A day after lighting up Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl, he hit up an Oklahoma casino and showed off his wealth.

Manziel shared a photo on his Instagram account Saturday of himself and two others at WinStar World Casino. He was seen fanning a stack of bills, and he captioned the photo, “Casino ballin!”

It didn’t take long for WinStar to realize they had the best college football player in the country in the house, and they welcomed him via Twitter:

Of course, any time a photo of a college football player with cash in hand emerges, questions of potential NCAA violations follow. The 20-year-old redshirt freshman quarterback addressed those issues as well as questions about whether he old enough to be gambling:

The best part of all is that Manziel received some empathy from a fellow teen superstar athlete, Bryce Harper:

Let’s just recap all the awesomeness in which Manziel has indulged the past few months:

It must be good to be Johnny Football.

  • People are not hating on Johnny they looking out for him because when you are on scholarship their are certain rules you have to follow. Oh he exempt because he won the heisman, Not. If that was any other kid posing at a casino the would be investigated by the NCAA. With him posing with pro athletes and so on I think he should be treated like any ordinary joe or college kid under a scholarship. If not whyt not let all the student athlete go to the casinos. Trust me this fame is only short lived cause he is being reckless

San Antonio pizza parlor makes giant Texas A&M pizza (Video)

Big Lou's Pizza in San Antonio made a giant pizza with the Texas A&M logo that measured 62 inches in diameter. You have to wonder where they found an oven big enough to cook that pizza. The pizza was made in honor of the Aggies playing in the Cotton Bowl last week. If you like this, you'll love the Johnny Manziel Heisman pizza from Hungry Howie's. H/T...

No-huddle a real challenge for officials

Johnny Football lived up to the hype ... and more. Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel ran for two touchdowns, threw for two more and rushed for an FBS Bowl all-time record 229 yards as Texas A&M crushed Oklahoma, 41-13, Friday night at Cowboys Stadium. That doesn't begin to tell the story. And while Manziel started a trend becoming the first freshman in history to win...

Texas A&Ms defense stands tall in second half

ARLINGTON, Texas The Texas A&M defense wasn't frustrated that the Oklahoma Sooners ran off 51 plays and scored 13 points in the first half of Friday's Cotton Bowl. The defensive unit was just mad that they weren't getting the ball back for the Johnny Manziel-led offense often enough. That changed in the third quarter. The Wrecking Crew forced three-and-outs...

Manziel shows A&M is better off without Big 12

ARLINGTON, Texas A euphoric group A&M players had congregated in perfectly symmetrical lines in the corner of the end zone at JerryWorld. Arms locked. Swaying, per tradition as the Aggie War Hymn played and The 12th Man sang in unison. It was one of those amazing scenes you only get from college football. And it was at this moment quarterback Johnny Manziel executed his best...

Texas A&M 41, Oklahoma 13: Manziel runs over Oklahoma, as Aggies head into 2013 a BCS title ...

Entering the 2013 Cotton Bowl, there was legitimate fear amongst Texas A&M fans that maybe, just maybe, Johnny Manziel had too much fun on the postseason awards circuit. In their defense, you can see why, since Manziel seemingly spent more time over the last month hanging out with LeBron James, Megan Fox and the Jonas Brothers than he did in the film room. And while no one could...

Bob Stoops Says Johnny Manziel Is Best QB Sooners Have Ever Faced

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical of what Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman winner Johnny Manziel  would do in the Cotton Bowl after his whirlwind world tour. Manziel stopped by Letterman, hit the stage with country stars, bought his own courtside seats to a Mavericks game, and played golf with the Jonas Brothers. I wasn’t sure he would have enough time to practice...

First things first, I'm the realest I think the title makes it sound a little worse than it really was. That said, the title is completely accurate. On last night's "Sports Final Overtime" on WBZ, Grousbeck was asked about Rajon Rondo as part of an interview which was meant to preview the upcoming season. While Grousbeck said some positive things -- calling Rondo...

The CBS show “Survivor” will feature a familiar face to baseball fans this season. Jerry Jones questions Morris Claiborne's performance

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne was torched for five receptions, 108 yards and two scores against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. The former first-round pick has been absolutely atrocious when he’s actually seen the football field in his two-plus years with the team. Bill Simmons dares ESPN to punish him for ripping Goodell?

ESPN’s Bill Simmons sometimes goes off the rails in very un-ESPN-like fashion. As a result, he’s part of a small group of key faces at the Worldwide Leader who are sometimes penalized by their employer for going too far. It’s debatable whether Simmons went too far with his latest diatribe against NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday, but it does appear as though — in...
