Notre Dame was so embarrassing during the BCS National Championship Game on Monday night that even Kate Upton was making fun of them. The best part about the joke Upton cracked on Twitter was that it mocked the New York Jets and Fighting Irish in the same tweet:

Now that’s a low blow. If not for Darnell Dockett hilariously hitting on AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, Upton would probably be in the lead for tweet of the night.

And yes, she has said in the past that she is a fan of the Jets, which is probably what inspired the comparison between the two.
OOPS, ALBEIT TEMPORARILY
With retailers attempting to sell merchandise following large events there have been a few mistakes over the years. The BCS Championship game was never in doubt last night as Alabama crushed Notre Dame 42-14 but Amazon.com still made the mistake of proclaiming the Fighting Irish as champions. Amazon issued an apology hours later. H/T WSBT
A National Championship matchup worthy of the name.
Alabama blew out Notre Dame to make the National Championship Game pretty boring, but the rout was almost worthwhile solely because of how much it crushed Lou Holtz. The former Fighting Irish coach was in disbelief after the game. He was defeated. He tried to find the words to explain Notre Dame’s crushing 42-14 defeat, but he couldn’t manage an explanation. “Alabama was...
The BCS National Championship game is an embarrassment for Notre Dame. Yes there were a few bad calls but this team was dominated from the kickoff. It's not Notre Dames fault, the SEC is obviously so much better than the rest of the country it's actually embarrassing.
The SEC is bigger, stronger and faster than everyone else. Notre Dame has a very good defense and...
Well, well, well . . . isn’t this interesting? I hate the BCS. I believe I may hate it more than anyone I’ve ever met. Over the last 10 years or so, I’ve pretty much come to hate everything about college football except for the games themselves. I hate the term “student athlete.” I hate the ***** coaches. I hate the conference realignment discussions. I hate the constant...

Last night in the loss, Notre Dame was not only trampled but they lost one of their best players to injury. Kapron Lewis-Moore the massive defensive lineman, injured his knee last night and was in severe pain. Well today Irish Head Coach Brian Kelly confirmed that DE Kapron Lewis-Moore suffered “significant knee injury.”
Lewis- Moore is scheduled to enter the NFL Draft and...
Early in the first quarter of the Discover BCS National Championship Game the referees could have possibly screwed over Notre Dame on two separate calls. And believe me, they don't need the refs against them. Alabama is looking like an NFL team right now. Check out the muffed punt above that Notre Dame got a penalty called on. The refs decided he was to close to the receiver...
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore has a ''significant'' leg injury.
Lewis-Moore injured his right leg and had to be helped off the field in the first half of Monday night's 42-14 loss to Alabama in the BCS championship game.
Kelly didn't provide specifics for the senior's condition.
Lewis-Moore missed the last six games...
Alabama had no problem with Notre Dame in the BCS Championship Game. Down 28-0 out of halftime, Notre Dame needed to a miracle. Unfortunately for the Irish, their most promising drive of the game to that point ended with a spectacular interveption by Alabama’s Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix.
Clinton-Dix showed great determination in flying in to come up with an interception off a tipped...
(Eds: Updates. With AP Photos.) By TIM REYNOLDS AP Sports Writer Notre Dame tailbacks Theo Riddick and Cierre Wood showed how interchangeable they are in the final two games of the regular season for the Fighting Irish.
Game 11 against Wake Forest, Wood ran for 150 yards, while Riddick had 20.
Game 12 against USC, it was Riddick running for 146 yards, and Wood for 20.
And so has...
