Notre Dame was so embarrassing during the BCS National Championship Game on Monday night that even Kate Upton was making fun of them. The best part about the joke Upton cracked on Twitter was that it mocked the New York Jets and Fighting Irish in the same tweet:

Now that’s a low blow. If not for Darnell Dockett hilariously hitting on AJ McCarron’s girlfriend, Upton would probably be in the lead for tweet of the night.

And yes, she has said in the past that she is a fan of the Jets, which is probably what inspired the comparison between the two.

With retailers attempting to sell merchandise following large events there have been a few mistakes over the years. The BCS Championship game was never in doubt last night as Alabama crushed Notre Dame 42-14 but Amazon.com still made the mistake of proclaiming the Fighting Irish as champions. Last night in the loss, Notre Dame was not only trampled but they lost one of their best players to injury. Kapron Lewis-Moore the massive defensive lineman, injured his knee last night and was in severe pain. Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly says defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore has a ''significant'' leg injury.
Lewis-Moore injured his right leg and had to be helped off the field in the first half of Monday night's 42-14 loss to Alabama in the BCS championship game.
