Each week, Auburn places a new sign inside its athletic complex teasing its next opponent. This week, it’s the Mississippi State Bulldogs who are the target.
The Tigers decided to take a shot at the cowbell, one of the longest standing symbols of Mississippi state, dating back to the 1930s. Here’s a photo of the sign:

Perhaps Dan Mullen hasn’t been at this address quite long enough to fully grasp the Mississippi State mindset, because he said today “Nothing is more exciting than SEC football.” Actually Coach, nothing seems to excite Bulldog Country more than a quarterback debate. Which is right where we find ourselves two weekends into the season.
Taylor Stafford has grown up attending sporting events at Mississippi State. Pretty soon his friends and family will be watching him play in the well known venue of Dudy Noble field. Earlier today, the New Hope outfielder accepted a scholarship offer from his beloved Bulldogs.

Four star linebacker Gerri Green wanted to get his recruitment over with before his senior season got rolling. Just over a month ago, Green pledged his college allegiance to the home state Bulldogs of Mississippi State. Greenville-Weston high school football coach Shannon Williams reports that other programs continue to recruit the talented Green.
