The Georgia Bulldogs have been known to produce high quality talent within the National Football League. But it seems that their production levels span to all professional football leagues as former Bulldogs John Atkins, Toby Johnson and DJ Daniel were all named to the USFL's "All Defense" list earlier this week.

Daniel, who played two seasons with the Bulldogs was a major factor in the Bulldogs secondary during both the 2019 and 2020 seasons. During the 2019 season, he started 11 of 14 possible games and finished with 42 total tackles. Which included a career high eight tackles against Baylor during the 2020 Sugar Bowl.

John Atkins Sr., who played defensive tackle for the Bulldogs under both Mark Richt and Kirby Smart started 14 games during the Bulldogs legendary 2017 season that saw them win their first SEC Chmapionship since 2005 and earn their first national championship appearance in over 30 years. He served brief stints with the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, and New England Patriots prior to joining the USFL.

Toby Johnson, who also played defensive tackle for the Bulldogs from 2013-15 under fomer head coach Mark Richt finished his Georgia career with 34 tackles and a pair of sacks. He was selected by the New Jersey Generals as the fifth pick in the 25th round of the USFL's draft.
