The Capital One Bowl has been entertaining so far.
Early in the 1st quarter deep in Nebraska’s own territory, Nebraska punter Brett Maher’s punt was blocked by Georgia’s Shawn Williams and bounced into the end zone. A handful of Georgia players dive on the ball. If anyone of the Bulldogs corrals the football it is a Georgia touchdown. However, the ball squirts out of everyone’s hands and dribbles out of the back of the end zone for a safety.

Declaring himself eligible for the 2013 NFL Draft with the conclusion of Georgia’s Capital One Bowl victory over Nebraska (according to The Telegraph), Alec Ogletree is quite possibly the most athletic linebacker in the entire upcoming draft class. Ogletree, who’s gifted with an elite combination of size and speed, has more range than most NFL inside backers.
Before viewing this clip of University of Georgia's Harry Dawg on the sidelines of the Capital One Bowl, I didn't think that pom-pom chaps existed. However, it appears that they do exists and that they are fabulous!!!! (Courtesy of The Big Lead)
Tomorrow the Georgia Bulldogs will finally face-off with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the Capital One Bowl, but on Sunday afternoon head coach Mark Richt offered his opinion on how well his team has prepared and whether they’re ready for the task at hand nearly one month since they last suited up. Georgia really wants Alvin Kamara; I apologize if that’s not news, but I felt it was necessary to state it again just in case you weren’t sure. Kamara has been highly coveted by the Georgia Bulldogs all season and their desire to lock him into the 2013 class hasn’t diminished in the slightest. The only problem is they aren’t the only school that has Kamara high on their...
No. 6 Georgia and No. 23 Nebraska will both be trying to outrun their recent past during their matchup in the New Year's Day Capital One Bowl.
The Bulldogs know they can't erase the sting of their disappointing SEC championship game loss to Alabama with a victory over the Cornhuskers Tuesday.
Likewise, the Cornhuskers know they won't be able to get over their lopsided...
When I think of Richard Samuel, two things come immediately to mind: 1) his tough runs against Florida (particularly in 2011) and 2) his big game against Arkansas (in 2009). Other than that, his career has been a blur and, quite frankly, unspectacular. That said, Samuel hasn’t been happy in a Georgia uniform for a very long time either and, after the Capital One Bowl, he took to...
I always feel the need to preface such posts by making it clear that this is all speculation. I don’t know Murray or anyone close to him, but I feel fairly confident writing this based on my personal observations and countless conversations with people who do follow the program closely. That said, here are five reasons I think Murray makes the decision to go pro in 2013. 1. There...
ORLANDO - Mark Richt, Aaron Murray and Jarvis Jones talk about Georgia's 45-31 win over Nebraska.
Tweet In a football-world where Cam Newton has his Superman celebration and Aaron Rodgers has his championship belt/Discount-Double-Check move, Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray apparently wanted to get in on the fun. Early in the fourth quarter of the Capital One Bowl against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Murray and the Bulldogs unleashed an 87-yard touchdown pass [...]
