Texas kicker and punter Anthony Fera, who transferred from Penn State, has a groin injury and is not practicing. Texas athletic trainer Kenny Boyd said Friday that Fera reported to training camp with a groin strain that he recently aggravated. Boyd says there is no timetable set for Fera to return to practice. Texas must find a starting kicker and punter this season. Fera was one of the top specialists in the Big Ten last season, making 14 of 17 field-goal attempts and averaging 42 yards on punts.

College Football: Former Penn State QB Says He “was ready to get out” of Happy Valley

Former Penn State quarterback Rob Bolden recently transferred to LSU and although he now sits at least third on a depth chart that includes junior Zach Mettenberger and redshirt freshman Stephen Rivers, he’s happy to finally be away from the madness in Happy Valley. He even goes so far as to say he was hoping to find a way out long before the scandal ever took place: …Bolden...

Deodorizing the Manure Under Penn State's Carpet!

Yesterday the Associated Press released a story that has nothing to do with the crimes or the criminals thereof—only about the school’s continuous effort to supply manure of which they have a superabundance stored in numerous places throughout the state.  The Governor’s Office, the Board of Trustees, Penn State’s administration, etc. foolishly think that the olfactory sense...

NCAA Needs to Show Consistency with Punishments

The NCAA has an obligation to look into and punish North Carolina amid their academic scandal.  I know that his will be most likely construed as another Duke guy taking a shot at North Carolina, but it really isn't. I'd feel the same way if it were any other school, Duke included. The fact is that by the NCAA shying away from a ruling of any kind and outright refusing to...
